Research Study Coordinator

Corey is a research study coordinator at the UCSF Malaria Elimination Initiative (MEI). In this role, Corey provides research, technical, and administrative support to MEI's growing USAID portfolio and the operations team. Prior to this, Corey was an epidemiologist at the CDC Foundation working on COVID-19 on the US-Mexico border. During her time at PATH on the Malaria & Neglected Tropical Diseases team, she focused on the Malaria Control and Elimination Partnership in Africa (MACEPA) project. Her background research is in maternal and child health, which she also explored at PATH on the Maternal, Neonatal, Child Health & Nutrition team, where she conducted research on skilled lactation and best feeding practices for the low birth weight and preterm infant.

Corey has an MS in Global Health from Georgetown University and a dual BA in Medical Anthropology and French from Washington State University.
