UCSF Global Health Group’s Malaria Elimination Initiative (MEI)

Alistair Lindawson

Alistair (Ali) Lindawson, MA, is a Program Coordinator at the UCSF Global Health Group's Malaria Elimination Initiative. As a member of the regional initiatives team, Ali primarily supports the Elimination 8 Regional Initiative based in southern Africa and represents UCSF-GHG on the E8 Technical Committee. She also supports the Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network (APMEN).

Prior to joining the UCSF Global Health Group, Ali worked as a Program Assistant for the US Agency for International Development's President's Malaria Initiative (USAID/PMI). While at PMI, she served as the Executive Assistant to the U.S. Global Malaria Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator and provided USAID headquarter support to the PMI Uganda country team. Ali has also held positions at Stanford University's Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) and the UC Institute for Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC).

Ali has an MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University in Washington, DC and a BA in International Studies from the University of California, San Diego.
