UCSF Global Health Group’s Malaria Elimination Initiative (MEI)

Alistair Lindawson

Alistair Lindawson, MA, is the Senior Program Manager for the Disease Surveillance and Risk Monitoring (DiSARM) project. In this role, Alistair manages all aspects of the DiSARM project including the evaluation of its use for improving the implementation of field campaigns. Alistair also serves as the MEI focal point to the Elimination 8 (E8) Regional Initiative in southern Africa.

Prior to joining the UCSF Global Health Group, Alistair worked for the US Agency for International Development's President's Malaria Initiative (USAID/PMI). While at PMI, she served as the Executive Assistant to the U.S. Global Malaria Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator and provided USAID headquarter support to the PMI Uganda country team. Alistair has also held positions at Stanford University's Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) and the UC Institute for Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC).

Alistair has an MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University in Washington, DC and a BA in International Studies from the University of California, San Diego.
