Katie Fox, MS, is a Research Analyst at the UCSF Global Health Group's Malaria Elimination Initiative (MEI). As a member of the economics & financing team, Katie works to determine the costs required to mobilize adequate and sustained resources in countries embarking on malaria elimination and their associated benefits.
Prior to joining the UCSF Global Health Group, Katie conducted research for Emory University on an integrated model of sexual and reproductive health service provision in Zambia. Katie also previously worked as an education program analyst for UCSF Global Health Sciences, as well as a policy research analyst for the Evidence to Policy Initiative (E2Pi). At E2Pi, Katie assessed the degree to which the Global Fund's investments on mother and child health have been realized.
Katie has a Master's of Science in Global Health from UCSF and a dual BA in Economics and Sociology from Bucknell University.
