UCSF Global Health Group’s Malaria Elimination Initiative (MEI)

Saehee Lee

Saehee Lee is a Program Associate at the UCSF Global Health Group’s Malaria Elimination Initiative (MEI). In this role, she provides programmatic and operational support to the MEI’s vector control, sustainability, and program management projects. She also manages the MEI’s community engagement work and Antiparasite Rollout Group, and is a liaison to the Elimination 8 (E8) Regional Initiative. Saehee first joined the MEI in September 2017 as a vector control intern, supporting various research and operational activities.

Saehee previously worked at the Minnesota AIDS Project, mobilizing community advocates and managing external communications for the HIV Action Network. Prior to this, she studied demographic and clinical characteristics associated with blood or marrow transplant survivors who engaged in long-term follow-up surveys at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Institute for Cancer Outcomes and Survivorship. Saehee holds a BA in Biology from Carleton College.
