Brittany Zelman, MPH, is a Research Analyst at the UCSF Global Health Group's Malaria Elimination Initiative (MEI). As a member of the economics & financing team, Brittany provides research to inform evidence on maintaining and increasing political and financial commitment for malaria elimination at national, regional, and global levels. Prior to working in economics, policy, and finance research, she supported MEI's advocacy and communication efforts, focusing on the malaria elimination progress of partner countries and the dissemination of evidence around the challenges posed by the final stages of elimination.
Brittany holds an MPH from San Diego State University with a focus in Global Emergency Preparedness and Response. While pursuing her degree, she worked with the San Diego County of Health and Human Services supporting the operations, communications, and evaluation of the local H1N1 emergency response of 2009-10.
