Christine Su is the Program Coordinator for the UCSF Malaria Elimination Initiative (MEI) where she supports the operations for the team. Before joining MEI, Christine was a Program Manager at the Public Health Institute with CAMI Health where she supported the development, implementation, and evaluation of a capacity strengthening fellowship program (CaSE) for HIV prevention product development in sub-Saharan Africa as part of USAID’s MATRIX project.
Her experience as a global health practitioner has been cultivated by working in collaboration with local partners on programming for community health and youth development projects, behavioral change interventions, and capacity strengthening for HIV/AIDS and Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health programs in Ukraine and Tanzania.
Christine holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in Community Organizing - Communities and Social Systems, with a focus on human rights, global health, and gender.
